Latest News: Brett Favre Diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease
Former NFL quarterback and Super Bowl champion Brett Favre stated during a September 24 congressional hearing he was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
According to The Los Angeles Times, the year-old spoke in front of the House Ways and Means Committee for a hearing about welfare accountability and reform, including allegations he and others used Mississippi state funds for personal and corporate gains.
He discussed his support and investment in Prevacus, a drug company working to create a concussion treatment, when he revealed his health update.
“I’m sure you’ll understand why it’s too late for me, because I’ve recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s.
This is also a cause dear to my heart,” Favre said.
