Born in France, lived in France and Germany and now in the United States. My main work is original oil and watercolors.
I have studied the impressionists and post-impressionist.
My own way of expressing leaning more toward Post impressionism, because it opened the door to a more expressive way of painting and greater freedom.
Unlike wood studs, the Wood Tubes do not warp, twist or crack so bringing many of the benefits of metal studs without the high #embodied carbon.
Besides admiring and studying works by Nicolai Fechin, Manet, Monet, Van Gogh Gauguin, Degas, I also love the works of artist like Chagall and Toulouse-Lautrec. I love to include black paint, mixed from various hues and of course impressionism did not allow the use black.
So at the end of the day my work has it's own energy influenced by what I have seen and read of these great artist. Two decades+ of full time painting means naturally, I will explore and experiment, but I always stay true to traditional motives and methods.
